I just skimmed it, but it looks like he needs votes to receive a small business grant.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Kevin Ryan has been an inspiration to me, and a benefactor to luthiers everywhere with his innovation (eg, zipflex). I'm happy to have a chance to help him out.

I would vote, except the instructions say that it will give Chase Bank my Facebook friend list. I don't want to give Chase Bank that information. If this was the part that was to be fixed, it isn't. If there's something I am misunderstanding, I am happy to be corrected.

I was the 280th. They got my friends list - all 10 of them. Wonder what they will do with that many?

I voted for him. I rarely use facebook and couldn't really care if they got my friends list. I don't know most of them anyway....Mike
